Karuvi Foundation, which is Chennai based has started its journey towards the good cause on 2017 with the great support from friends and family which paved the initiation. Now, it had launched a vast plan, called “KARUVI 2030”, which aims to anchor the organization more firmly in the South where the opportunities to influence the reduction of the injustice of poverty are great and where we can have the most impact in correcting inequalities.
The Karuvi Supervisory Board and the directors have outlined a new structure that will transfer responsibilities to the global South, through a network of interdependent affiliates and partners.

This plan is based on an evolutionary approach. Karuvi has a long tradition of service in the poorest areas of Chennai and advocacy around the Tamilnadu. Today, our Theory of Change emphasizes the sharing of knowledge that we acquire through our intervention programs and our research. We exert influence on a series of levels, from local to global, so that people can exercise their rights, shape their future and realize themselves fully.
